Different techniques of gynecomastia

Liposuction technique: when the gynecomastia is as a result of excess fatty tissue, this technique is used. This involves the insertion of a cannula, a thin, hollow tube, through several small incisions. The cannula is moved back and forth in a controlled motion to help loosen the excess fat, which is then removed from the body by the vacuum suction.
Excision technique: this technique is usually used and recommended where the glandular breast tissue or excess skin must be removed for the gynecomastia to be corrected. If the nipple needs to be repositioned or areolar is required to be reduced to give a more natural male contour, this is the preferred technique.
Combination of liposuction and excision techniques: in some cases of gynecomastia, it is treated with the liposuction and excision technique.
How the operation is performed:
The gynecomastia surgery can take from two to five hours.
The first step is to mark the pectoral (chest) muscles and glandular tissue where the chest reshaping will be done.
Administration of anesthesia – local anesthesia with light sedation is usually preferred during this procedure.
Tumescent solution infiltration.
VASER liposuction to remove extra fat deposited in the chest area
